Acupuncture is a gentle and effective method of stimulating the body to heal itself. Our health depends on the balanced functioning of our body’s Qi (vital energy). When we are in optimum health, our Qi, or life force, flows harmoniously through our body along a system of pathways called meridians. Illness arises when the flow of energy becomes disturbed in one or more meridian and manifests in a diverse array of symptoms. Acupuncturists focus on creating a smooth flow of Qi through the body by inserting thin needles into specific points on a meridian called acupoints. In this way, imbalances or obstructions of energy in the meridians are corrected and associated symptoms are resolved.

Using skilled palpation and manual techniques, the osteopathic practitioner seeks to influence joints, muscles, circulation, and viscera to improve the relation between structure and function, leaving you feeling stronger and pain free. Some of the most common complaints that people may consult an Osteopathic Practitioner for are: back pain, neck pain and headaches, postural problems, occupational injuries, sciatica, carpal tunnel syndrome, tennis elbow, arthritis, knee and foot pain, and digestive problems.

I’m a registered acupuncturist with a background in holistic nutrition and community health. Before pursuing acupuncture, I spent over a decade working in the nonprofit sector, supporting initiatives in food security and cultural revitalization. My experience in community-based work continues to shape my approach to care, emphasizing accessibility, education, and the interconnectedness of health and social well-being. I graduated from Pacific Rim College in 2024, after completing an extensive 2190-hours of training, including over 460 hours of clinical practicum. My practice integrates acupuncture, bodywork (qi gong therapy and acupressure), cupping, moxibustion, and food therapy. My approach is informed by advanced training in pain science, prenatal care, and ongoing studies in classical Chinese medicine. I am committed to continually deepening my understanding of both Traditional East Asian Medicine and contemporary Western practices to provide the highest standard of care. I have a special interest in mental-emotional, digestive, urogenital, and reproductive health, providing support through the changes and phases that unfold across different life stages. Whether you’re managing chronic pain, nervous system dysregulation, or simply looking to feel more at home in your body, my goal is to provide compassionate, individualized care that meets you where you are.
